Artists keep inventing and recycling fashion styles that rock our world, and Salonista Rock Fashion Collection on Tue 11/20, (18:00-late) brings together a contemporary take on many of the major genres from rock history. Fashion shows include...from the 50s-60s: Neo-Rockabilly, from 60-70s: Prog-Rock and Funk Rock, 70s-80s: Punk Rock and Pop, 80s-90s: Madchester and Big-beat/Electro-rock, and 00s: modern retro rock-chic. Live music includes rock super-group KASIN*, NIRGILS, SUPERFUNKTION, LOS RIZLAS, PINK JOPLIN and special guests THE Possible...

  • Kashin's members span the punk/rock scene from street to major, and include bassist EBI (ex-Unicorn, ARB), guitarist Koya (ex- MUTE BEAT, SUPER BAD) drummer Fujimari (ex-WRENCH, Anarchy) and new female vocalist Yukino.

Salonista fashion shows are held at music events targeted at various core audiences of trend leader consumers, media and fashion industry. Collections of street, music-related and active sport fashion brands are based around different sub-culture themes and are each held once or twice per year.

Recent Salonista themes include motorbike, cycling, rock, dance music, tennis, snowboarding, surf and urban fashion. Future events for skate, football, men’s street and women’s street collections are planned.
