Tokyo Scene Improve group: Providing public entertainment through PDA (Public Displays of Amusement).
A diverse group of people who enjoy creating "scenes" in public spaces, leaving people smiling and wondering "what was that??" Our first event was Sunday May 25. Over 130 people gathered together in Ginza and FROZE in place for 5 minutes. This is part of a global trend that started in New York City by ImprovEverywhere. The Ginza event was recorded and posted on Facebook and Youtube for the world to view. We are seeking members to share in future "scenes" and to bring their creativity and energy to the group for unique performance art events that are not typically found on the public streets of Tokyo.
