HEARTokyo is an annual show held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly Bldg 1st Floor Tomin Gallery.
This year it features 27 artists (illustrators, sculptors, animators, manga artists) including presenter Patrik Washburn and runs from March 1st to the 7th 10 am to 6pm. (from 11am opening day/until 3 closing day) The show itself is a partnership between Patrik's artist group and an NPO which works to make Tokyo a better place. For the artists, it's a good way to showcase fresh talent. More info can be found here:

Although I work in a variety of media, my practice the past 10 years or so has focused largely on video and video installation. On October 10th, will present a selection of these past projects while trying to identify some recurring themes or ideas and how they may have evolved over time. Hopefully, this will lead some discussion on working within a context such as Japan.
